Can I Collect My Goods?
If you would rather collect from the workshop this can easily be arranged and of course save on delivery charges, we will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your collection vehicle and of course happy to complete the loading for you!
How do we calculate delivery charges?
Many of our items are VERY HEAVY, they need to be to do the job they are designed to do, therefore we cannot price until we know your item choice, quantity required and postcode for delivery. We will then select one of the following delivery options:
1. Courier - TNT or similar
Windows, ventilators, ironmongery and single door orders will often be sent by courier service, these items can be easily wrapped and we are confident will arrive with you safely. However, we ask that at all times your delivery is checked and signed for. Damage or breakages are not covered if the delivery is signed as unchecked. This is not an economical choice for larger volume orders.
2. Pallet Service
Doors, frames and multiple orders of windows etc, we will use a pallet forwarding company, fittings are supplied loose. The items can be stacked on top of each other enabling us to get the most from the pallet rate. As always we ask that your delivery is checked and signed for. Damage or breakages are not covered if the delivery is signed as unchecked.
3. Dedicated Driver
For local deliveries and volume orders we will use our own fleet of vehicles with our own drivers. We have our teams delivering and erecting timber stables and timber garages particularly in the south so are able to offer a fair rate.
We ask for payment in full for all our goods before despatch, though we are happy to work out a stage payment plan to assist which can be organised as follows:
- 50% with order, we will prepare the order confirmation and drawings for you to check*
- We will then request the balance when the goods are ready to despatch, usually 3-5 working days beforehand*
*Please note stage payments may not be authorised if the goods are client specific
We can accept debit card or cheques, though credit card will incur 2% charge
